She said “Yes!”

I really believe that I was destined to have my last name.  And anyone who has ever sat next to me at a wedding will know I’m a complete sap.  This Mother of the Bride is a friend of mine through the Junior League of Oklahoma City and when she called me to photograph the engagement, I jumped at the chance.  Curious of the logistics of the night and explaining to her that I’m not really a “flash photographer,” I will admit I was nervous though.  But, she assured me that she simply wanted photos for her and her daughter to remember this night forever.  Now, to say this family is close is an understatement.  Their bond is among the strongest I’ve seen between Mothers and Daughters and I think (I hope) I captured the essence of their love for one another.

I’m sure the wedding planning is in high gear with this crew but I know, again, it will not be a night they will soon forget.
